Unravelling ‘The Golden Thread’

Following the Grenfell tragedy and its subsequent independent review, a wealth of legislation has been published to reform building safety. In support of the Building Safety Act, regulations have been created which establish new duties as well as the need to create and maintain “golden thread information”.

This presentation will outline:
Key terms such as “golden thread” and “golden thread information”;
their respective regulatory requirements;
how existing British, European, and International Standards can support dutyholders, and the wider built environment sector, in meeting such duties.
